was thinking?

lol...

well wen i got my computer i got 2 boston speakers and 1bass tube.. and i unhook the sub in the basstube and now power 2 mtx..

so i was wondering if i chould some how hook up an amp to the speaker wire from the bass tube

ohhhh.... i dont see why not... i cant really see it sounding good if your planning on throwing it on a CPU, but it can be done... you just need a 12V power supply for the amp.

would something like this work

i dont have a car rit now so just feal like do something crazy.. =D

i just hope this cheap amp can handle another amp..

I wouldnt run it off a battery.... try a battery charger if you dont have a DC to Ac converter.... but i warn you.... there is going to be a loud humm in the sub either way you go. . .

i dont think u want to use the battery. it may work for a bit but every time u want to use it yo will have to charge it. try using a power converter.

why the loud humm?

Through a battery charger you will hear a hummmm cause there are no filters to clean up the signal being charged to the amp (i think). . . Im not sure were to purchase a converter from since most of them (pawn shops, car audio retailers etc... ) are custom made. Maybe swing into a radio shack and see if they have anything. If anything maybe you can see what one looks like.
