the xxx will be both louder and sound better than the other 2 setups you had

buy one and a decent amp and you will be very happy

Guys. One 10" sub, no matter what kind, will never stomp a pair of 10w3v2's, or a similar quality subs running off of a 500/1. If you had over 1Kw to play with, then maybe. But not at your power level. And if you have 3.2ft^3 to work with, you sure as heck can fit those 10's in there ported. The box will just have to be a little smaller than JL's spec.

uhhh, you must be kiddding me man. No matter what kind. You should install mean more than equipment. Ive played with w3v2's i was not impressed with them at ALL. Maybe all the ones the installer put in were jus crappy but they didnt get that loud at all.

Every system is install dependant, above all else. And when it comes to SPL, there is no replacement for displacement. I'll take 700cm^2 of cone area and 500 watts over 310cm^2 of cone area with 500 watts anyday. Not to mention 2 more efficient drivers. And if you wouldn't, than you my friend are crazy.

well i guess im crazy since ive put donw plenty of dual setup with my single XXX. a good enclosure over a bunch of subs.

Ok man, I am not trying to argue. I am just stating the facts. But it helps to compare apples to apples. Remember, every system in every vehicle is going to be just plain different. But you can not argue with the physics of it all.

Besides, do you think you could take down a system in the same car running the exact same amp as you except he is running two SE's in the same style box as you?

And what you enjoy, sound wise, may not be what others want out of there system.
