If it's made in china then tough luck for kicker.

China has NO copyright laws. Their government does not enforce it and auctually encourages copying. It's hard to believe but there are NO copyright laws in China and no such thing as a copyright infridgement or patent infridgment.

Why do you think there are still soooo many chinese companies making almost-identical copies of the iphone and still operating almost a year in.

Doesn't matter where it's made.

Legacy appears to be located in NY. Patent laws most certainly apply to and are enforcible against them.

From the article I read in some magazine (can't think of which it was now), it's primarily because of how they operate.

Every few months they relocate their manufacturing operations. So by the time you track their operations to a certain location, they've already moved to a new location. By the time you find that one, they are somewhere else. And the cycle continues to the point where in the end, it's not economically feasible to continue pursuing them.

The article was in regards to the first "IClone".

I never knew that either. So they move different places but keep the same company name and continue to make new products? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
