OK i was looking on ebay for a cheap system and I purchesed a set-up.... Wondered what yall think.

2 12" 800 watt Polk Dx Series + Box = $160

Pyramid 1600w amp = $85

Lol yeah, pretty cheap stuff...... Got warranty on the amp though..... I never tryed it out yet.. im still waiting for the amp to get in

amp=broke in 25 minutes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif and the box with the subs is prolly terrible

trust me, i would have bought a better amp... but im not swimming in money atm.... Im just looking for something to make my subs go boom....... Right now, Im running on tweeters.. thats it, I need bass.

Whatkind of power you need? I could sell you my lil tiny GM3000T for less than 85 shipped....hell of alot better quality than that pyramid....most power the GM can muster is only 100x1 at 4ohm bridged but it got the job done with the 12VQ

you could pick up a zr360 and RF hx2 for under $200 bucks. It'll wang pretty hard and sound pretty decent if properly installed. One of many examples. 12" 2005 type r and amp for around $250 etc.

all you needed was $70 extra dollars and you could've gotten a directed 1500D. these threads never make sense too me. why ask for advice after you purchase? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

x2 both are great points I've asked the second one many times //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

well you didnt go broke on it. You didnt overpay and I doubt with the small purchase that it is something you will want to shoot yourself over if something goes wrong. Decent buy IMO. You weren't looking for the best and you didn't go nuts with money. Nothing to complain about I guess... nothing to be too proud of either. But as long as you know what you are getting then it's good which seems like you know it's not the greatest. It will give you some thump in your music.

i had two dx 12" and loved them. they need exactly .88 cubic feet each. when i bought mine i was dumb and anxious so i got a prefab 1 cube per side box. the subs popped till i displaced the extra space to make the box the right size. they were great subs. i abused them for 2 years till i sold them and they are still as strong as new. they can handle closer to 500 rms each if you know what your doing.
