unless you have it specifically noted in your policy to fully cover aftermarket equipment/clause to cover affixed equipment with receipts, it's a gamble if you dont know what's damaged or not.
ins. adjusters have the uncanny ability to total a claim rather than fix, one reason being that they then render ownership to the ins. company, who then turns around and salvages everything possible and either stores or distributes the donor parts among body shops and liquidates everything else to try to recoup the loss, if any.
