did ya read ^^^ there my last post, I feel ya about the same sh1t over and over... I would say shd24's but that outta budget I think some 21's would kill it though....

I like the idea of the 8's and the vfl yellow will definitely be a show piece.....

those c2 12's are a beastly budget sub... like 150 so you could do a huge 8 12 build or so that would lok sick, later get carbon (color cone) and trick your subs out that would be a awesome show piece...

Are you able to get me a link to those 12's so I can take a look at them?

8's are awesome, here's another budget 8 that is awesome..... the American Bass XD its the little bro of the vfl , its kills the sa8 imo, and can be had for like 80, but if it comes down to it vfl's all the way.....

IV looked at the xd 8 and had considered doing those but the only price I can find is 89.99. For 20$ more I might as well get the vfls lol.

do what you want, screw lanzar and what your friend wants in your car. if i was walling my car i would do four 15, i still have the mentality quality over quanity. also 16 eight inch subs would be a bich to wire up and get the ohm load you want. your also guna want more than 50 ft of 1/0 if your running a decent amount of power

What kinda tens would go well? I'm just keeping all my options open. IV still got a little under a month to get everything in order but would like to have an idea on what sub setup I plan on going with within the next few weeks. I think 50 ft would be fine. The big 3 is only like 10-11 ft if that then from the hatch to the battery is like 12 ft. I don't plan on doing 10000+ watts. Only plan on doing maybe 5-6000. A little more a little less maybe but not trying to go balls out in it lol. Not trying to set a record. Trying to look awesome and sound good while doing it.

If you're looking at 8s, we have the hydrogen 20x that was just reviewed on DIYMA. Maybe it would be more in line with what you're looking for. If so, let me know.

Other than suggesting those, I'll second why many others have said, you can do Better than lanzar and you should choose your equipment not your buddy.

Yes let me see some of those 8's. He's not choosing for me lol hes just throwing suggestions out about what would look cool and still sound good for me because he knows what I'm looking for. He put everything in his dats system on his laptop and it said it'd sound good. Lanzar was on the last of the list. The only thing that got my interest was the 16 and they were gonna be under 400$ for the subs so which is why I asked on here lol and people confirmed what I was thinking. No lanzar lol. Once I figure out what subs I'm going to go with we'll come up with which amps to use. He was talking about some new old stock earthquake amps, I can't remember the model number but he said they do a solid 2000 at 1 ohm, but that's just another thought as I'd like to get my subs in order first.

Just so that we can keep up with our market, what about the hydrogen 8s do find them lacking? We certainly want to know what people are looking for, that we may not offer.

my top pick for 8 would be the vfl or ct sounds meso 8, 10's i'd go probably c2 threatcon2, or if they made the threatcon 4 10's made..... any ssa subs, xcon,zcon,icon, hdc3 10's are mean and freakin slam, hdc4's would kill...AB xfl's are budget spl subs that are beastly too.... and AQ/SQ just made some new budget subs cheap, 10's and 12's.... those may be excellent bang for the buck I know their hdc line is monsterous.....

Budget for the subs is on the first page and since the back seats are out and I'm doing a wall, I have quite a bit of room available. I can fit 4-6 15's as guy stated above. Maybe 3 18's if they're mounted on just one side and port behind my seat or passenger seat. Anything smaller I can probably get like a dozen of lol. I want a multiple sub setup. Idc if I'll run into problems or not, multiple sub setups look pretty fricking cool to me. So that's what I'm doing. I just need recommendations for subs like basswiigee has been doing. Thanks btw lol the more subs that are mentioned the more options it gives me to look into
