A trunk car with back seats that don't fold down is probably one of the worst cars you could use to compete with. I'm not saying it can't be done, but good luck.

I would try 2 12's on that power 1 most likely will not cut it in that power class.

if you're ballin I'd look into DD. but trust me you can NEVER go wrong with DC.. GREAT product and great prices. I have a Level 4 btw, owned multiple subs, by far my fav

do you have that god forsaken cross brace going diagonally across your trunk opening like my T-Bird did? horrible horrible horrible.

ok if you wanna compete in db drag then street stock .you need 2 12 inch steel stamped basket woofers ,like the dd 1512's,also a 2000 watt rms amp.just to start.build your box ,tune it around 36 htz. should play the low and higher bass notes.or do a aero port 6 inch subs front and port front .biggest issue will be getting the box right ,and sealing the trunk .2 15's might be a little too much as i dont think you'll have enough room to at the trunk entry for the woofer and the port area.also port on the drivers side .with the 15's you'll need at least 6 cubic foot plus port are .i know the trunk is big but thats frt to back , not side to side.thats why i'm thinking 2 12's instead.or even 1 18.

i hear dd's are pretty pricey?? i also hear the low lows are what get the loudest?? im not sure if i can fit 2 12's in my trunk with and still have room for a amp and have proper space.. my trunk is sealed off but i can out the arm rest in the back seat and get a hole about 3 inches wide and twelve inches long would that help alot?? what electrical would i need to upgrade for a 2kw rms amp??

i am ballin but on a budget //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif i think i might go with dc jeff the guy at our audio shop showed my his two 18" lvl 5s and it was a great struggle just to breathe with those monsters

leave the brace ,go thru the hole in the seat or port up thru the rear deck,also you can get 2 12's in there ,do a 4th order band pass and you'll be loud as hell.the dc's is a great choice for woofers and they love daily apps.you might wanna look ay more power and do street a.also upgrade the alt and a better battery.new classes in db drag allows all cars to be running now in the lanes ,so the big 3 a 1250 amp alt and a group 31 battery for the electrical and a 3500 watt amp ,would be a great start with 2 12's

my buddy had one of those cars and did great but needed more power. took 2nd in state idbl for 2 yrs and the only guy that beat us took idbl world with 4 15s and 4 2kamps in a suv. we had 2 15s and 2 2k amps.

i did his whole build and we went to alot of shows for bout 3 yrs,ah good times.

im in the process of doing a blowthrough with two level 4 15s in a single cab, should have some good results! good luck man cant wait to see your build start up

how much would all of this run if i did it myself?? 1500?? ever seen people compete with 2 10's?

depends on the equipment you use.400 for wire 100" the 10's or 12's 400 - 600,amp prolly 500-1000 , battery 2-400, alt 400 and box if you build 200 .300 grand top end if you do all the work.you also may look fora used battery 220,used amp 500,get new woofers tho,if you get some used maybe 2000

ohhh i like to hear that! so the coug can get loud huh? got any tips for me then?? howd you fit two fifteens and 2 kw amps in there? its a tiny car
