im in afghanistan right now and slowly buying things for my car to keep me motivated while being over here haha ok

i have an 09 chrysler 300 with a jvc kw av60 headunit already and im planning on dropping a system in it i already ordered a 2012 alpine type r 2 ohms and im getting a custom made box to fit in the car made to specs from a local guy back in anchorage i plan on buying a hifonics brutus brz 1200.1 doing the big 3 on my car all 0 gauge from knuconcepts ofc wire upgrading my battery to a optima yellow top and also amp kit from knuconcepts true 4 gauge ofc

what do yall think good for a starter system or not?? also i went with one sub cause i still want some trunk space still gotta get the baby stroller in the back. cant wait to get back to states and hook it up haha thanks

not bad at all. sounds good minus the JVC (not a fan personally). might want to look into running a thicker gauge wire for now and upgrading down the road save you time and money in the future. Like 2ga or even 1/0.

Yeah just go with 0 from the beginning, I had to upgrade my wiring 3 times before I finally got a large enough gauge to support everything, so skip the hassle and get the larger gauge wiring. You should look into getting a nice set of component speakers upfront too and maybe a small amp for those since most of the sound comes out of the full range speakers than the subwoofer.

ohh i was gonna go with a pioneer but the jvc has app mode lets me use my iphones gps and apps and the big seller for me is that it had a detachable face so they wont steal my **** haha

Run the 0 awg to the trunk, then do a distroblock with 4 awg to the amp, later on if you want to do more amps or bigger amps you can just hook it right up to the distroblock, a lot less work and way cheaper to upgrade.

yeah im looking into that too i post a thread asking for opinions but there were some pretty expensive ones thrown my way

ohh word didnt know this see learn something new everyday and its easier for me to do this battery is already in the trunk haha

for the amp??? i think that amp only takes 4 gauge
You can run 1/0 into a distribution block that brings it down a size or two or if you ever get a powercell/battery for the trunk, run the 1/0 to the powercell/batt and from there to the amp run a smaller gauge
