Hey,
I've been looking at upgrading my audio system after various parts have failed in the past year or so. I have been looking at purchasing the Kenwood KDC-X896 head unit and the Polk db521 speakers for the fronts and rears. Does anyone have any comments on these two products? I have found the Polks on amazon for around $60 a pair, which is one of the main reasons I've been looking at them. I have also heard that these speakers lack bass, a feature I would like to have. What budget sub/amp combo, either powered or individual components, would be best in this wagon that would not take up too much room and be easily incorporated? I still plan on using the trunk for hauling purposes, so a huge box across the back seats is something I would rather not have to deal with.
I have never installed audio equipment in a car before, so any tips on that would be appreciated, especially if you have worked with this or a similar car before.
Thanks. (I've also attached pictures of the car, albeit not mine, to give you an idea of the space I am working with.(Pictures in album 3-7))

Sorry it is not a link, new member and all.
