anyone who has ran this sub before please help me with box recommendations.

was thinking 5ft^3 at 32hz on a sundown 1500. with extra battery

any suggestions

bigger box, much bigger. i had one in a 5.6cf box tuned to 30hz. it sounded great, but lacked a little on the lower end (my AQ HD3's tuned to 38hz get just as low). i would say 6-6.5 cubes or more would be suitable. i was also powering it with a SAZ1500, it was a awesome combo

yea i agree 5 cubes is not enough...and also if it was me (which doesnt matter) i would tune lower so its a lil more musical since im not really sure what you listen to or anything

i agree. that's right on the cusp of overdoing it. plus that amp has been known to be underrated. I say you may be better suited with a 1000D.

Im playing with my 15" now actually, it dont get low enough for me either. Im gonna try another box, Nice sub...

i saw u were running the aq...how musical are they? are they good daily? do u think i would be better off running the rl-p? i want to do a single 18 and pound the lows on ~1500 watts
