idk probably close to .75ish for sealed and 1 for ported i would try to go even bigger than that iif i could. I could fit 6 of them ported in my truck in a wall but 8 would be too much with not enough airspace in a regular cab truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
EDIT: 2 cube ported? thats sounds enough for a 12 not the tens.

i guess with 8 10s going sealed wont be a huge heartbreak lol. how do you determine the tuning of a sealed box? i only ever build ported i havent had the best luck sealed..

yea i did realixe that actually i got very lucky with the power i have and this sub deal.. this could be a very fun budget build. and very cheap too so im not gonna cry if it goes horribly wrong:laugh:

lol exactly the tuning of a sealed box is dependant on the subwoofer. The fs of the sub is what the sealed box's tuning will be

from what i have seen all h/o alts are way overpriced. stock alts are built as cheep as possable to save money. a h/o alt has better windings and diodes big freaking deal does that make them worth 4 5 or 6 hundred dollars? nope. you are going to be doing two projects one is the wall and the other is an upgraded power supply. to me i would think doing the power upgrade would be first because you cant do anything without the xtra power.

Thats not exactly true but I dont want to argue..

2 MJ-18 SVC4's with 1600w RMS, 10-11cu ft @ 33hz has ALOT of potential.

Then again so does 8 MTX 4510-04's. I would say 10 cu ft should be enough to run ported. And all the MTX stuff I have ran takes power really well.
