want to do a budget wall. sub suggestions?

i say go with the hifonixs and then upgrade to the aq's later
this really makes the most sense to me. i just dont want to spend alot of extra money on subs ill be swapping out. shiiit thyre only like 30 bucks a peice if anytning ill scrap them if i dont like them and go back to my single hdc3

If you are really serious about this wall, I'd do it when I had enough money for everything. Makes no sense to me that you would wall off a car with cheap shit and not use that money for your electrical. And depending on the cheap shit you bought, you'd be stuck with it or selling it for much lower than you paid for it. Even if you did do the wall the way you intend on doing it, it would not be loud. Then you'll get shat on by someone in a well built trunk setup with solid electrical which should not happen.

Just do it right or don't do it at all. You won't listen, but you'll wish you had.

What car are you driving that the best price you could get on an alt was 600? What companies have you contacted?

well the reason i was just gonna do a real cheap *** wall now was beacause it really is gonna take a while to get what i need for the aq wall. i need an ho alt too which is insanely expensive for my car the cheapest i found was like 600 bucks. and ill need some more intimadators for batteries. i also still need 3 more of the subs and another amp so i figured i just do thisshiity wall now for fun so i have somethihnjg to do while i save for everything. plus if i do it right i may be able to keep the wall and throw the aqs in seeing as they will require about the same airspace and such. ill tune to the likings of the future aqs also so i can just get them in there when i have everything
from what i have seen all h/o alts are way overpriced. stock alts are built as cheep as possable to save money. a h/o alt has better windings and diodes big freaking deal does that make them worth 4 5 or 6 hundred dollars? nope. you are going to be doing two projects one is the wall and the other is an upgraded power supply. to me i would think doing the power upgrade would be first because you cant do anything without the xtra power.

i have a saturn ion. not many major companies carry my alt. i found one ebay that was around 500 but was only 170 amp. i beleive the one that was around 600 was from dc power alts and another one i found was 700 but im not sure of the company name. mechman doesnt carry an alt that fits my car either. if you know of anywhere i can get one for cheaper from a reputablt company i would appreciate it

my electrical isnt terrible i just need to save for the ho alt and the extra batteries. as of now i have a group 31 in the trunk and big three is done and im about to do a ground run from bat in trunk to alt chassis. so its not that good yet but i ran 1800 rms full tilt without too terrible of voltge drops

ooo i like the idea of this.. maybe 8 of them
yea 8 10s> 4 12s and about the same price as 4 hifonics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i would do 8 in my truck if i had the air space and time to build a big azz box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

idk probably close to .75ish for sealed and 1 for ported i would try to go even bigger than that iif i could. I could fit 6 of them ported in my truck in a wall but 8 would be too much with not enough airspace in a regular cab truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

EDIT: 2 cube ported? thats sounds enough for a 12 not the tens.
