want to change it up, need your opinions

i got a pair of 12 type Rs now and i want to change it up a little. was thinking mabye a 15, but im wanting to get louder then what i have now. i have the Rs in a 4 cube box off a hifonics 2008d set at 1600 RMS with a DMM. so i don't know i might just not do it if i cannot get louder then what i have now. or im thinking i might just get 2 12s that handle more power and get another hifonics 2008d. was thinking maybe a pair of HDC3s and stick them in the box i have now. what you guys think? im just kinda sick of the 2 12s i had like 4 different set up of 4 12s but i dont know it just seems like thats just the best use of the space i have so what you guys think:crap:

i had the gain set at 1k each but did not hear much of a difference from 800 each so i turned it down, did not feel the need to have that much power to get no difference in output.

More power won't really make a difference, you would need to probably get 15's that handle 1300 watts and a new hifonics 2608 and run the subs at 2 ohm on each amp.

ya i doubt i have the room to run 2 15s ported. but id like to.

get 3 10's.

i was thinking that. maybe even 4 10s. how much air space do 10s need ported? mabye 4 10 AQ sdc 2.5s off like 4k
