I want some advice from you guys about what to do with my Ford Ranger build I'm gonna be doing in the coming months.
It will be a Ford Ranger XTL cab. Idk what year it will be but my budget for the truck is less than $1500 so probably 90s.
I want to keep the back seats if I can.
The budget for my system is $1500 max. My goal for the system is to have some bangability (the ability to bang), while also being well balanced and SQ. I'm not trying to do hairtricks or set SPL records.
Currently I am thinking running a DEH-80PRS, 2 Dayton Audio Ultimax 10s in a sealed box, and a set of 6.5 components for the front stage and I guess keep the back speakers stock (if rangers even have back speakers).
My questions are:
Assuming the box has enough airspace to accommodate the subs, will subs sound good under the seats? Which way should the subs face?
What components should I get? How should I place them? I was thinking get kickpanel enclosures for the mids and put the tweeters in the a-pillars.
What amp should I get for the subs and what amp for the comps?
