Hey guys, about to sell my xxx 12 and was thinking about what I want to do next

I wanna try some 8's!! Can't decide between 2 or 3, leaning more towards 3.

Also, can't decide between vvx8's, SA-8v2's, or the new VFL 8's....wanting to try the VFL's cuz of the looks and a 3" voice coil on an 8! Lol

And then the custom box built according to which woofer I choose.

For power I already have a hifonics zrx.2000.1D which I will keep or trade with cash for something more suited for the 8's.

Any input will be awesome. Thanks!!!

The AB's are 2.5" coil...

SA. ^^^^ As already stated the ABs are 2.5"

I would say you cant go wrong with either... If you want to be a little different get the AB's or one my 3" coiled 8's hahaha

Oh dang I read wrong then. I thought It said they were 3", my bad.

I'd like the vfl just for something different tho, I heard they had better sound quality too.

But idk if 8's will get loud, or as loud as I want them to, unless they are in a 4th order....

3 will have more cone area then your current sub...

Did 4 sa8v2 .s in my buddies ranger on a saz3500@. 5. its like a 148 so dont worry about bein loud jist put.them on proper power in a nice box

True but I just hear people say they are only loud loud in a 4th order....but that's not my over all goal I think 3 would get nice and loud and have some quality sound all in a smaller box!

Yea they are in a subs and double kerf port up

D2 would be 1 ohm and d4 would be 2

Alright so there isn't going to be a weird 1.7594845 impedance? Or anything like that with an odd # of woofers? Cool.

I'd like 3 VFL's....in around 2 cubes since I was told 0.65 works well for them....don't know tuning yet tho....or how much port...
