Wanna build a system - are brand name parts REALLY worth the cost?

Don't mean to sound like an ***...but before you go buying a system, you need to do your homework.

Search button ftw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Its all about figuring out what you want out of your system and seeing how to do this with the budget you have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Convertible...write off rear speakers and focus on getting good ones up front. Thanks to wind noise they're all you'll hear. Provide them with plenty of power, HU power isn't going to cut it here. After that getting the sound from the subs into the interior is going to be a challenge. Good subs and good power are going to be important, but a really good enclosure is going to make or break the deal.
