Wall tuning

I figured as much. But I'm already giving the subs much more than the 2.5 cubes what alpine calls for. They're sitting in 20 cubes net after all displacements. Or were before I had to take stuff out.

Time to start double and/or tripling up on the sides of that box. 1 layer thick (or even 2 layers) on a 20 cube box is grossly inadequate. If every box wall is flexing even 1mm that almost negates all the motion of your cones.

You can also do 2x4 bracing on the exterior of the box unless you need to take up volume also. As suggested I'd do "reducers" for each side of the port opening to drop port area/tuning. 12^2 isn't magical, you might be fine going smaller, especially on lower power.

As for hair tricks I do them at 47Hz with both doors open so anything is possible.....
