Wall help

Was wondering if anyone can give me some insight on building a wall. The main thing im wondering, is how do you build the box in the car. I plan on doing one in a little bit and im just trying to gather up some knowledge before i start.

Plan out the assembly so you can reach the panels to glue/screw them. Meaning the top/bottom obviously can't be reached, so the sides will be full height.

For the top you can screw/glue small pieces on the sides so the top can sit on them to hold it while you screw/glue it together. Also pre drill all the screw holes as it's a LOT easier that way.

Assuming you're doing double thick walls, cut the inner panels so the box goes together like a puzzle and will somewhat hold each panel in place so you can attach it.

Some guys do a 2x4 frame first and attach the panels to that, but I've never tried that way. I've done 6-7 walls my way and they go together pretty easily, just takes a lot of time if working alone.

back

sides

top

port walls

baffle - pre drill sub mounting holes
