w7 recone build

i put a post before on fixing up a 12" w7 by gluing on a lexan circle on it and connect it to the "w" cone.

but then it got me thinking if i could make a carbon fiber cone on the w7??

i dont know if this is a good or bad idea or if it is possible to make homemade flexable fiberglass?

suggestions would be appreciated!

he just said that he lived around bloomfield hills (like 20 - 25 mins from my house) and that he wants this thing gone, so could probably get it off his hands for $90- 95
