I had my 2 10w6's running off a orion 1200 and i had the gain at like 3/4 and they loved it, they hit so clean and pretty hard. well hard for some but i was used to my RE SX 15

yeah i like them a lot, i only have the gains at about half because ive heard too many stories of subs blowing because they don't set the gain right, yeah the definately sound good.

So as far as dB ratings what would be the difference between running a pair of speakers at 230rms and 350rms?

Then set them correctly, not just "at half". With a high enough input voltage at half could be much much worse than when using a very low input voltage and having them cranked.

Impossible to tell as there are too many variables but I imagine it would be negligible at best. Theoretically something around a 1.5dB increase. It is unlikely you would even be able to tell a difference to the ear.

ok, im only gettin between 14 and 14.5 when idling, and 12 and 12.5 when the cars off, i'll go throught the tutorial
