I got the black looking powerclass after the art series and its a great amp. pc250 and got a pc2600.2. They rock. DCX series I heard aren't all that, dunno never used one.

PC series is a great amp....underrated i belive too....My PC 2150 was rated at 4ohms bridged and ran 2.67 without problems....very solid amps!

I have 5 of those Art Series Amps and I love them..these amps are awesome very hi-end.

go with the 404 ,bridge it and run 200 watts to each comp..plenty of headroom

what amps do consider to be the last word in amps? and wouldn`t you agree that these amps(ppi) or on level with zapco amps

I think they are very close with Zapco amps. It's just when you start looking at amps from Diamonds D9 series, Brax, Audison, Sinfoni, etc.... where you are well over $1k for a component amp you know you're looking at the real big dogs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have a PC2350, a PC4100, two PC2150's, a PC650 and a PC450, they all kick a$$. I am trying to work out a deal on a black Art Series AX606.2 right now. I have been told that there were only about 500 of those made. Don't know if that is true or not but it looks sweet.
