Voltage?

I am using a Line Output Converter and trying to figure out how to determine how much voltage the pre-outputs provide. I thought it would be as easy as using a multimeter, but that didn't work for me unless I was doing it wrong.

Well, with a LOC they wouldnt bee pre-outs, as a pre-out is an output before the amplifier.

Play a test tone and measure the AC voltage at the maximum volume you will use.

Hmm, is there a way to measure the voltage that the LOC provides to the amp then.

Thats what you're measuring. Measure the AC voltage coming from the RCA's with a test tone playing, at the maximum volume you would use.
