I went out to set my gain a few mins ago on a 2 channel amp to run my component speakers. I was setting them to 20 volts (100 watt rms) to a 1khz sine wave with the HU at the 3/4th mark. One channel would read right at 20...when I would check the other channel it would be around 18.6 Is this common? What would cause this issue?

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
