voltage question

I've been getting different voltages each time I turn the engine on. Today it was 13.6 and the other day it was 14.1. Is that normal or is there a way I can keep it above 14? I got a crappy stock battery right now.

The battery voltage will change depending on alot factors ( A/C on, cold day, etc...) and 13.5 to 14.4 range is about right for a stock battery but not for amps. You could buy a better battery (optima is good choice) if your running many devices but if not, dont bother.
