The voltage of the REM wire from my LC2i matches the voltage off the 12V line (eg: REM shows 14.4 while meter shows 14.4). Is this normal? Im trying to debug why my amp goes into protect mode when it feels like it.

Amps really need status blinks or an LED. If something can set it off then it can tell us what that was -_-

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
