I got an 03 cavalier with stock alternater and 2 yellow top g34 batteries. i have 1 orion 2500d running at .7 and i see my voltage dropping to 10's during burps.. what can i do to fix this? i have 1 run of 0 gauge going from front to the distro block out back prob 17 feet. then i got the second yt in the trunk with 0 gauge to the distro prob 5 feet. then i got the amp hooked to the distro with 2 4 gauge power and 2 4 gauge ground. prob 1.5 feet each. then i got the 0 gauge single ground out back from distro to car prob 2-3 feet. i also have the big three done with 0 gauge. i get to the point where i am driving and i crank it for a bit of time and then my gauge cluter restarts itself im guessing from low voltage. like my speedo, fuel, rpm's all go to 0 and dummy lights turn on and then it restarts.

and check all connections with a dmm and make sure some crimp connects havnt come loose. u should sell those yellows and come get ya a real battery. look in my sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Stiffening capacitor will go a long way to fix this.
Yea not a chance buddy.

Do the big-3.. Most people don't realize that a single 1/0 run to the trunk is absolutely useless considering your stock battery to ground is most of the time 8awg and the engine to chassis ground is the same if not smaller.
