voltage at 15 volts?

I just ran another run of 0 gauge under my hood and now my voltage is at 15 with music off. Should I be concerned?

over 15.. yes

optima specs show charging voltage up to 15.1 is considered safe. Anything more, and your in wawa land. Check with your battery manufacturer...

and no lanzar does not pwn sundown. Lanzar OPTIDRIVE does however.

Sundown is good stuff. People just go around and talk about them being 1200 watts underrated and bullet proof. Price to watts ratio is not the greatest.

I would keep an eye on it I had a voltage reg. go on a car once and before I noticed the insanely bright lights it had already swelled the battery like a balloon, before the auto store tossed in the new battery and I installed a new alt. the voltage was in the 18's!

Yeah on the battery. Optima Blue TOP D31M. It was in the 60s.

I meant the dmm brand, cheaper ones can be off, I only trust my fluke. Sometimes if its cold you pcm will up the charge to compensate, but not unless its like in the 30s lol, anyways I wouldnt worry. When I redid some stuff on my car it was at 14.9, now it has settled around the 14.4 area
