Don't call it a comeback
Well I have my setup thats im my sig, so I am only running like 1000 watts max. I am only getting about 10 -10.5 volts at my stereo amp which is causing it to go into protect. Also i am getting horrible engine whining, i have checked my amp gound and it has no resistence what so ever. ALso I have a pioneer HU and i have heard that they are notorious for ground problems. I am going to reground my hu tomorrow and i was wondering do i just cut the existing ground and make a new one? Also for the voltage issue....i have done the big 3 what else should i do to get some more volts? Thanks

bump for the voltage issues......got all the ground issues taken care of, but i am still only getting like 11.5 volts max at the amp with the truck on.

to ground your head unit just cut the ground wire right before it goes in to the harness and ground it behind the dash, might also want to ground your rca's too. are you using any distro blocks? if so i would check voltages there also

I think i know what the problem is.....i have kicker 4 gauge running to the distro where there is some crap walmart wire running to the amp. I am going to upgrade this and see if it helps. Where is the best place to get some distro blocks for cheap?
