volt meter recommendation

Hey guys, i want to get a nice sleek voltmeter or gauge. i have a stinger one but i want a smaller one. i seen some ebay ones that are nice. also, which wire shouldi connect it to, battery or the power wire going to the amp?

my vote goes for a stinger one. I installed one and love it. I wired mine directly to my front battery and it works fine. Not sure that is better than the amp though, but since power comes from the battery I thought it was okay.

You mean wire it up? Mine has 3 wires black blue and red. Just hook each to the power remote and ground. I test stuff with it by hooking up the power and remote together. I'm going to get another one for the amp, and one coming directly off my battery in the front. My old *** car has no battery meter.
