*VIDEO* My First Video of my System in my Truck.

What's wrong with tuning low? Because everyone doesn't always want to sound the same and some of us like a little SQ.
i will retract my statement if the OP states that SQ is what he is looking for.

BUUUUTTTTT.....

if he was looking for SQ, he wouldnt have 4 12's that are no where geared towards SQ.

an i know someone will say that you can make them sound good, an i know you can, i am just stating that they are not geared towards SQ.

Yea the Reson i have it at 29Hz is b.c i listen to a WIDE Variaty of Music...Bass, Rock, Rap, Techno, Trance and yea they all have differnt sounds and 29hz seemed to bee the optmium so that i can have loud Bass but i can still listen to Rock and what not
but still, 29 is abit low, 32 would be better

well actually you are right!

35 would be optimum for the cvr's due to they are a budget spl sub! dont need a lot of power to get loud with the budget in mind

Well im not looing for SQ im actually wanting SQL.
well, tune it to 35 and have the enclosure built at about 8 cube's internal after sub, port, and wood displacement!

well then 32 would be sweet for you..
like i said above 35 is optimum for what he want's due to these arent really low end monster sub's they will do great in the 35-45 hz range!

so tuning it at 32Hz would be better then 29Hz?
read above lol

yea, from what i understand, the lower the tuning the more output you lose.
lower the tuning the more output you will have at that given frequency! but for a straight spl stand point yes you would lose output in the upper range of 40ish hz! this is where most poeple get high score's but i doubt you will be competing am i correct?

oh are those pre-fab enclosure's? they seem to suffocate your sub's! not to mention they are facing opposite direction's and causing cancelation! fyi i would put the single on top of the triple to see if it would make a differance! if it does bolt it down to the box and bam you have more output with a little more sq
