I agree 100%! If that sub was in a standard ported box I would only see low to mid 130's at best. T line designs take up huge amounts of room but are unparalleled with output next to a quarter wave folded horn.I would say a lot of that number should be credited to the T-Line no?
I do 145.1 on two ole school Pioneer Premier 250-spl subs on the TL off a Hifonic's BXi 2608d running 2-ohms, so 1800rms and crappy electrical. I attest most my loudness to the kerfed ported box I had made by Twisted on here.
All softparts are replaced. Instead of the standard aluminum roundwound coil, 1.5" ww, this one has an even tighter copper roundwound, 2" ww. and instead of the single soft spider, this has a med nomex spider. cone is TC sounds standard though. Managed to pick up a few from Thilo.Well I'm impressed to say the least. Whats custom about the TC?
