vfl80.1 or vfl1880.1?

i'm going to use either on an efficient 15" sub (1 ohm) for daily driving - no comps. which would be better?

The 80.1 is a Korean built amp. And full size to. The 1880 is 900 rms mini amp built in China. Both are good amps. But the 80.1 is better built

i knew the 80.1 would be built better because it costs more, but i was thinking it would be overkill for a modest system. I'm not a teenager looking to impress, I just want solid bass for a reasonable price.

$ isn't the issue, but i don't want to spend it for features or power that I don't need. If the 80.1 is better even in non-competition settings, then it would be the choice.

80.1 hands down. Quality and reliable, saves you hassle of gambling with a cheap underbuilt chinese amp.
