Very noob fuse/wiring question...

Setup is a Pioneer deh-p5800mp H/U with nothing else, have 1 Cadence txa1000d that I'm looking to hook up to 1 SoundSplinter rl-p15.

My question is this: How many fuses will be present in my setup when properly wired? This is all VERY new to me, but as I am understanding it would be 3 total.

1. From battery positive to alternator

2. From battery positive to amp, closer to battery

3. From battery positive to amp, closer to amp

Is that it? Or am I missing something(probably)? There are no built-in fuses that I can see on the amp. But there was an inline fuse-holder/fuse that says "80" on the box.

kross, thanks for the fast reply.

So would there be absolutely nothing to gain from the fuse closer to the amp? I could see that since it would seem that would be 2 fuses on the same line....not necessary.

As for my amp coming with an inline 80-amp fuse...does that mean anything? Isn't 6 guage wire the smallest I should use with this fuse? If I used 4g should I upgrade fuse size?

Thanks again for all the help.
