When I read sq with pro audio 8's on 1000 watts each I laughed. I just hope I get to see videos of this when its done. I would just like to know how the hell this system is going to be tuned with that many speakers playing the same frequency...

again... i can build hifi towers. design passive crossovers and actually build a speaker. here's the deal... i came here asking for info on a high powered 2ch or 1ch monoblock full range amp. i didnt need your opinion(s) concerning the thought process of my design. go that? it was very simple. this guy right here, the "OP", the "THREAD STARTER"... asked a very simple recommendation. nothing else, nothing more. if you cant actually contribute to this thread with useful information.... then gtfo.

I run a bunch of PA mids, so I know it can be tuned and made to sound good. Active HU and a TON of amps is what worked for me. Imaging/staging are impossible with that many speakers, but the main goal was to keep up with LOUD bass and be musical at lower volumes. I would not call it SQ by any means.

In the past I've run the mids in a pseudo 2.5way and that worked pretty well also, just took some time to dial in xover points/slopes

ok... im torn between the dd and american bass monster 2 ch's. i was dead wrong about DD. sorry about that. the pa drivers are going out the window. im strongly leaning toward the seas W18NX. run two per door on a 4ohm load. wish they made those drivers in 4ohm.
