Very Good SQ 5.25" Shallow Mount Components

looking for a pair of 5.25" shallow mount components.... looking for very good SQ and around 50-70 watts rms to match my amp specs...... 4 ohms...... must fit in a 2007 subaru impreza sedan front doors....can anyone put some suggestions

like i wod say 2" bottom mount depth..................1.5-1 7/8" top mount depth

Any way you can make a spacer and get more depth?

well the doors there is no space to use a spacer...... very shallow....... i was thinking of using DLS X program SPC............ or boston SE comps...... but wat about morel maximo comps?

Boston SEs are great for the price. Get loud off little power and still take a ton of it and im more of an SQ guy and they sounded very good to me for the price.

Friend of mine has the Maximos and loves them but he got em when they were on sale for $81 a set. He doesnt the think theyre worth much more than that.

I can't comment on the DLS set though

i have a set of old hart professional not sure of the depth. they are in storage. i will measure them tomorrow if interested.

wat about the infinity kappa 4" coaxials for the rears...... they say its 2 ohm.... 50 watts rms..... my amp is 60x4 @ 4 ohm..... 100x4@2ohm...... rockford 450.4..... will the kappas work with the amp........ true 4 ohm technology ...not too sure wat that means though.. jus dont wanna blow them thats all

i wouldnt get kappa...just the ones i have heard were schrill. i think the ref line has a better sound.

ads made about the best 4" i have heard. was a mid/midbass not a coax.

Audison Voce AV K5 is without a doubt the BEST OVERALL sq oriented speakers that wasnt mentioned here... high sensitivity needs very little power..
