very confused

Im planning to install my four CVR 8's this weekend and think Ive almost got everything figured out, but im still a little confused on some things. I found the diagram on how to wire them to a final load of 2 ohms but Im not completely sure I understand it. It shows a positive wire going to the first sub and then looping to the other 3, and the same for the negative, but I dont know if I am supposed to split the speaker wire into individual positive and negative wires or what to make the runs.

Im sorry for being a noob to all this but im trying to learn everything I can and really dont want to mess this up since its my first install.

twist the ends together so they arc from one to another so its like two wires in all the holes except the last one

Oh, i think i get it now. So all the + and - are showing is which terminals are positve or negative. It doesnt have anyhting to do with if you use the half of the wire with the red stripe or not. Am i right?

Wire every sub's coil across so each one has a single wire running from the negative of one coil to posotive of the other....then just follow the diagram and loop the 2 center subs to each othr and at the end you will actually have only 2 negs and 2 posotives coming out of the subs but you can just have 1 of each by simply looking at the pic and anywhere you see a "line" that's a speaker wire jumping from coil to coil....i think i just confused myself....it's not as bad as i just made it sound..just follow the diagram and you'll be fine
