no, a simple monoblock will work for you.

If you want to go the kicker route, u could get a KX2500.1

or maybe a Hifonics XX hercules. The options are pretty much endless. I wouldnt go over 2,500 for the pair though.

thanks ... I guess I'll go with the hercules ... that was suggested by a dude up top and thats the one getting the best reviews besides the obvious beastly beasts ... thanks again

assuming you have two dual 4-ohm L7 woofers, you can wire it in paralell (view link above) and get a 1ohm load...which i recommend. when you select an amp, look at the power it pushes at a 1ohm load...the RMS rating that is. look for A nice subwoofer amp thats rated around 2000wrms @ 1-ohm.

now to ask, what is your budget for the sub amp?

I'm looking to spend around 500 to 700 or so ... it looks like the Hercules runs at 2000 watts x 1 chan. @ 1 ohm which is on point right?
