Vented rear deck...Yes or No???

I have a 2008 Honda Accord Sedan. Got 2 12w7's in the trunk with a custom built box that backs all the way up to the rear seats. It hits very hard and rattles the rear deck a good deal even though it is sound deadened. If I did vent the rear deck (just cut a rectangular hole with some matching mesh to disguise) would I notice....

-More bass in the cabin? Doesn't the cutout just let more air in the car which would mean more bass? I thought too maybe because the box comes all the way back up to the seats very tightly that a rear vent might also have more of an impact.

-Less rattling from the rear deck?? My thought, as was my installers, that a vent in the rear deck would release some of the pressure from the bass in the trunk, thus less rear deck rattles.

with that being said would you say I would notice these 2 improvements or not??

thanks

Are the speakers in the rear deck for 08 accords? If so just take them out and you got two vents dont have to cut up ur car either
azbass: so you think it would really help in what I want it too, more bass and less rattle???

darkhunter: I am one of the few who actually loves rear fill so unfortunately that is not an option. But if I did cut up a hole you think it would help with more bass and less rattling??

anyone else please??

yes...more bass..less rattle...its not this complicated.
i understand this has been asked a lot or what not, but I have read articles and posts about people saying it will not do anything in noticingly increasing your bass. I thought by giving my car specs and install specs some experts here might have better insight....sorry to frustrate you

well i got my rear deadened but the key is to make sure youur trunk is tight fit, if you look on your trunk lid, u'll see some rubber feet sticking out , try to rotate them so they'll stick out more, close the trunk and see if your trunk lid still moving, if it's not u're good to go,

with the license plate, put some sponge behind it and don't let any edges touches the trunk's surfacce .

Its like asking if you should lower your back seats, obviously any barrier between you and the speaker is going to limit transfer of sound to you, and that barrier is going to be under significant pressure, obviously causing it to rattle or resonate sometimes violently (you should've seen my rear deck metal about a week ago...shits dangerous)
