lol i dont think so but i dont live in alabama eitherever since i got my 18" in my car ive had like 7-8 people say that it is illegal to have an 18" subwoofer in your car in the state of alabama..just wondering if this is true or just some rumor someone passed around
How could that be illegal? They shouldn't be able to limit a person on what you put in your car if its not a safety hazard. Most states have laws towards DB though. In Texas if your car is over a certain DB from 50 feet you can get ticketed for it.
I'm in fort worth and I have yet to experience this, hm...guess the fact that I turn it down when cops are around is a good thing....I'll watch out, thanks for postin'!Hell I live in Dallas Texas and if the officer can hear anything coming from the car...whether is music or excessive loud whatever...30 feet away....they will ticket your *** faster than a eskimo can run in a snowstorm...
I got 1 ticket a while back in my 86' Grand National for having the exhaust open and you could hear the turbo whine pretty loud, so he ticketed me...and then another time, I recieved a ticket for my music too loud...and all I had was a set of tweeters and 6.5's..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
