Alright guys i need help i have been getting so many suggestions but idk which is best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif i have the pioneer TS-W306C/DVC 12s and they are going in a 1989 mark vii the specs from the site are

Recommended Enclosure 0.85 ~ 1.75 Cubic Feet

Dimensions 13" x 7"

Mounting Depth 6-1/4"

but here is my question what would they pound hardest in a sealed enclosure or a vented enclosure what you guys think please answer me as soon as ya can building this 2morro so i kinda need to know thanks guys:)

alright:) thanks how should i do the vents though like one in the middle one on the side or what? i really want this box to make these subs hit any suggestions also of what i could tune it at?

Vented usually yields increased output over a sealed enclosure.
Told you so Abahnuser18.....do you not trust me or something?

You surely must have gotten a manual with the subs...what size do they recomend for a PORTED enclosure?

What is the recommended tuning from the manufacturer?

Once you answer those questions we can help more.

Port and sub placement are all car dependent.....build test...build test.....build test.....do this as many times as you must until you find what suits you best...

I can't work with a ported enclosure don't have enough for the ports so i was gonna go vented instead and tune it to bout 32 or 33 what ya think?

yeah thats what i thought to ? but phy wants to be a dick to and tell everyone to not post 2 any of my posts **** i hate that ****er he's a prick. thats right phy i hope u read this instead of helpn people u always ***** at em

-on topic- ported will be louder and maybe sound cleaner then sealed, sealed will be for SQ, ported for SQL if tuned to 32 or 33, just read your subs manual for what they recommend and it should sound fine and go with slot ported box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif cuts down on the port noise or a sealed box, it's up to you, got 2 options...which one you gonna choose?

---- CORRECTION-- a sealed box will be more realistic (or cleaner as you put it) a ported box is boomier by nature but will produce more pressure per its design.

You are a dumbass dude so don't down P for downing you and telling the truth....ported is vented vented is ported...god...how dee dee dee can you be?!

When someone says vented they are usually talkn=ing about a slot port but ported can mean square port slot port aeroport pvc port etc etc....

so if you can't fit a ported box then you can't fit a vented box....

How much trunk space do you have to work with while still being able to get the box into the trunk after being built?

What's he size of your current box?

*EDIT*

Just found a pic f that car and dude you can fit ported.....if I can fit a 4ft^3 after port and driver displacements then you can fit a ported box.....
