Various Install questions

first off i just got an 02 altima. The trim kit and harness just arrived so i already got the h/u installed, but i was worried about the subs. i have 2 10'' l7s wired to a aq 1200d; one of things thats been messin with my head is that 1 of the l7s is an 08; the other one is an 06; i bought 2 06s from some1 here, blew 1 up and had it replaced by kicker for 25$... i thought they were gonna send me an 06 but they sent me an 08. having both of these wired to the aq 1200 shouldnt be a problem right? i cant find the RMS on the 08 anywhere in the manual. that and i havnt gotten a diff batt yet, the stock 1 is somewhat beefy but im sure the subs will be putting quite a strain on it. should i wait and buy a new battery before hooking up the subs?

Check the RMS of your new sub. If that's the same and the sub is the same voice coil configuration then there should not be any problems.

As for your battery, I would do the big 3 first then see what happens.

I do not think it will be a problem just by what year the sub was made. As long as they both are the same ohm ratings you should be fine.

ya they are both d4s; i should be buying 1/0 for the big3 on friday(payday); i was planning on doing big3 on this car, the neon i had was jerry rigged and i killed the electrical on that car

Subs will be fine as long as they are the same OHM's.I don't think they changed the power handling on them much between the years.But I could be wrong on that.

power handling would not change that significantly in a few years. especially when dealing with around 600W per sub. shouldn't be an issue at all. if anything the 08 could handle more.
