my wife says after my car is paid off I can buy a "play" vehicle. I'm looking into a cheap SUV or van. Was wanting to know if any specific van models are just bad for SPL builds. I've heard conversion vans aren't good for them, any others?

i got an astro, by far my favorite vehicle i've ever owned and i've yet to do any big systems in it yet..going to take care of this ride like it's a million dollar ride cause I want to keep it forever lol.

I'm not an Explorer expert, so some of the Drag/USACI guys please chime in, but I'd look into a 2nd Generation Explorer. Maybe like a 1996 model or something? They're insanely loud.

Explorer much > Blazer.

But, it depends on what Explorer you get. Some Explorers are really quiet, especially the 2 door ones.

Id look for whatever gen the 2000 Explorer is.

They get sickly loud for street/stock setups

Freaking PStrurmer did 155 legal with 4 Type R 12s and 4 2600 Hifonics

Or you can look at my model for more of a daily aspect...take a lil bit more work to get loud but itll play music as well.

154.7 legal for me with 4 HDC12s and 2 500.1s but in the 40hzs
