Valor amps???

I'm trying to find an amp to power a RE SE12 and I have seen valor amps for about $127 HERE and was wondering if anyone has used a Valor amp or the site that it is listed on?

Or if you have any suggestions on a amp I should get...I'm looking for a mono amp @2 Ohm that is 600RMS or a little higher. I would also like for it to have a bass knob.

Cheap gets expensive. If you can't afford to do it right, you can't afford to do it twice. You get what you pay for. etc etc.

Invest in a quality amp. A Sundown SAE-1000D would be perfect for your needs as it puts out 600WRMS at 2 ohms.

The nice thing about the Sundown is, if you ever decide to add another sub, you can strap these amps and get more power without having to replace the amp.

well $310 is a little more than I want to spend and I plan to stay with a one sub system(I need some trunk space)

Another option I have is to keep my old amp. which is a Power Acoustik OV2-1600, but Im not sure if it work with the sub. The amp is 740W @ 4ohm stable mono...

Thats why I was looking at another PA amp, I have had this one for ~3 years and it has been great and it was pretty cheap.

I know you said you didn't want a refurb, but why not?

Puts out 750 watts at 2Ω, and IMO you can't beat it for $187, refurb or not.
