v-tech box and sub questions

i have a old v-tech 8" hammer 125 watt 3 ohm in a matching v-tech 8" box, i was wondering if i could possibly cut another hole in my box and jam in another 8, because holy cow does this 1 8" pound, any input is accepted..

If you just cut the hole and leave it as is, it'll now be a ported box. Ported box is twice as loud.

you sir should consider drinking bleach.. that could be the worst advice ever given.. please swallow razorblades while getting a blood transfusion from magic johnson..

OP: no you cant do that... it will change the tuning of the box if you add another woofer and will probably sound terrible... leave it as is

You sir, should consider taking a joke. The fact that the OP said that he has a v-tech 8" in a matching v-tech 8" box and he wants to cram another 8" in there because it currently pounds so hard, should be enough to tell you that he's absolutely hopeless. If the OP had responded to me you might have had a stroke from the next piece of advice I was going to give him.

On a serious note. I hope the OP didn't take me seriously and really go cut a hole in his box. My next suggestion was going to be to add tweeters to box as well, powered off the sub amp, so the highs could keep up with the massive bass lol

hahaha... no i havent done anything to the box and i mean its nothing compaired to the systems you guys have but for in a extended cab ranger its the perfect amount of base and mids. when i get my taxes back i plan on getting 2 12"s, no clue what brand pretty much what ever the pawn shops here in town have, my dad knows quite a bit about systems, he used to work with vergial williams. back when he had freddies nightmare. but what ev.
