not to thrilled about the damage is done because you dont know how long the exopy will last or how bad the puncture is. you would want to hear it first obviously...is this your first system?

A puncture from a screw driver isnt going to be huge. Epoxy will hold just fine.

Id be more concerned with the guy saying that it was played as a midbass.

I think the guy is just an idiot and meant it plays the higher sub bass notes well too. I could be wrong though. Dont know what those subs go for, but the box doesnt add much to the price as far as I'm concerned, probably isnt any where near spec for the Subwoofer thats in it.

yea i think its just a POS prefab box he bought. hes probably ran that sub hard when he says 2000w daily lol

I'd say the price is ok...but maybe try to talk him down for just the sub without the box. Build your own box to spec. Fi now owns AA and ya know how everyone loves Fi....

yeah idc too much about the box. I'd probably just leave it in there until I had time to build a beastly one.

or he's a retard and thinks just because the amp says 2k that the sub is getting 2k... if it was doing that daily with a legit 2k it would probably be fried

Yeah, but is the guy trying to charge $100 bucks more because its in a prefab enclosure? Ya never know. Thats why I suggested inquiring about the price without the prefab box. Some people are really proud of their prefabs. lol

yeah well he hasn't gotten back to me yet so I doubt I'll even be able to get it...
