USPS pwned me... Advice requested

ummm why not just buy a DVD burner at newegg for like $40... in anycase I'd just bug the shit out of them... at least try... there isn't much else you can do... at least it wasn't a big ticket item

I didn't really shop around much, I bought it off E-bay BECAUSE it wasn't a big ticket item... yanno what I mean? I usually buy things that become obsolete quickly like cheap computer hardware from E-bay because the prices are good and I rarely ever have to bother with warranty issues. I definately didn't expect this though, could have happened with newegg too if they decided to use USPS to ship my package.. doesn't really matter.

You can be sure I'll bug them about it though...

I hear ya... check out newegg for hardware from now on.. they have awsome service... in fact I would imagine they'd make this sort of situation right for such a small item... in any case g/l... I betcha they left it at your door and someone nabbed it

pwnd. j/k. i been waiting on a thread like this for awhile now. at least it wasnt a $300 sub or amp or somthing. i ordered a sat. box one time and they said it was delivered. a month later i was still raising hell and had done filed 4 complaints and it turns out they left my package setting at the post office the whole time. it arrived at the p.o. 2 days after it was shipped and then just set there the whole time. we never got a call, letter or anything. but now i dont recieve hardly any of my mail. g/l getting it straightened out tho.

If you paid w/PayPal maybe you can file a item not received complaint.

If it was claimed to be delivered did it require a signature?

If so who signed for it?

I'd go down to UPS and raise helllll with them!

All this will do is piss the seller off and try to get his money.It's USPS's fault (not UPS btw) and not the sellers.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from.The main beef I have with USPS is they lose shit quite easily, and no tracking.UPS, they'll **** your product up, but you'll get it lol.
