Used sonance or new 187?

Around christmas time my old beat up RD sonance was at the pawn shop and the guy couldn't sell it so its probably still sitting there. He wants 100 for it. Taxes should be here within the next 2 weeks. Should i go pick up my old sonance which is mechanically sound and in 3.5 cubes @ 30hz. Or buy a new 187 and build a box for it which will cost around 200? Which is a better sub? My sonance was pretty nice , is the IA 187 better or worse? BTW i'm talking 15"s

The 187 would probably last longer depending on the physical condition of the sonance, and don't you like trying new things? =] Why not look for something else in that price range that is used in great condition?

I may do that. Just feeling out all the options. I want one big *** sub and output isn't a big thing for me , i like loud but i would rather have a low end monster than a fart machine. I'll have to keep an eye on the classifieds. You got anything laying around that'll make for a good substage? Amp/Single Sub 12" or larger? Remember , i'm working with a pretty tight budget.

website is down. you know any info off the top of your head? Interested in either a single 15 (coil configuation doesn't matter because i will have to get a different amp) , or a pair of SVC 4 12's Or D2 12's with around 300 RMS per sub

I will see what I can do then, maybe I can trade for a nice single 15 or something from someone. you can use some of my ish as trade bait if you find something you like lol
