used crunch amp any good?

If you had to choose a mono amp for a pair of 10" subs, what would you choose?

Crunch amp 750 rms at 2 ohm - $120 picked up (and i can bargain) from random craigslist

~ OR ~

Phoenix Gold (old school) ZX500 amp 600x1 at 2 ohms

from a good friend so i know it works legit, has a cooling fan on it

$150 picked up

I'd go with the PG, the PZi series from crunch is supposed to be terribly over rated.

That P1500.1 is probably pretty powerful, unless they just put 4x30's on there for the fun of it.

But comparing the crunch at 2 ohms vs the PG at 4 there probably isn't a significant difference. The Crunch SHOULD deliver quite a bit of power at 1 ohm.

The PG is a top notch amp - it would be hard for me to go with the Crunch just due to initial quality. Chances are that PG will last a LONG time...the crunch, who knows?

I just remember a few people on here even a shop owner saying how the pzi amps broke like rabbits fuk, this was back when the GP3000d came out and all that hype
