Used Car Dealers in Socal

Anyone know some good used car dealers in the LA area? Specifically around OC because I wanna avoid going really deep into the city of Los Angeles.

I'm passing thru Riverside & Corona though so if you know some good places there that's even better.

The place has to have an honorable warranty on the ****** & engine, no salvage, and a fair prices.

It's for my girl and she wants a Chrysler 300... of course i'm putting a system in it because she's gonna be driving me around for a change.

Whatever works though because girls are so dang indecisive sometimes.

Carmax is the only place id go, mom and pop dealers do you so **** dirty and you dont even know it. Best bet is getting a loan from bank or credit union and buying from private party off CL.

carmax is the best those other places will charge u extra for those rims tvs and all the extra crap u don't need

Goto CarMax is you if you don't mind getting gouged on the price. Cars im looking have come onto there lot and there 4-6 higher than other used car lots. Just search around.

Seriously man carmax gouges your eyes out then an extra little gouge in the kidney.. I understand the warranties and how a new engine and ****** can cost 1,500$+ a piece.

I'm probablly gonna roll with a craigslist dealer.. how would my girl get a loan? Shes had a credit card for like 6 months and a **** part time job.

Buying from a warrantied dealer seems like the best bet cuz engine work done by shops can be shotty while the warranty would cover all failures even after an engine rebuild

if shes onlyhad a CC for 6 months and a part time job sorry to burst her bubble but a 20%+ interest rate is what shell be looking at ESPECIALLY from a used car lot. she hasnt established enough credit for anything and she doesnt make enough, my sister almost got denied from a 20k mazda because she makes less than 20k a year and she has tier 2 credit and got a 3.9% apr on a NEW car.

Best bet is join a credit union and see if she gets approved for a loan through them because i doubt a bank will. But you can always try.

As for the "warrantied dealer" thing youll be surprised how sneaky they are and the tricks they have and use to get out of paying for it. If you decide to try carmax a buddy of mine works at the one in burbank he can probably let you keep an intact kidney but youll still have to give em your eye lol

The point to buying used is she'd pay off the whole car right there. She had roughly 2k saved up at the moment and i was looking into a 100,000 mile car for about 2.5k

You arent finding no 300c with 100k for that price lol. Now where talking 94 civic with 200k miles haha. You wont find any car dealer with a car for $2k. If thats the plan stick to private party purchase off CL and tell your girl to lower her expectations.. ESPECIALLY right now that its about to be tax season

I have looked into civics and i found a lot for around 150,000 miles at 2k or less. I know if i wait for a strike of luck a 100k mile will show up for 2,000$

What is a private party on CL? Is that like any person posting a car?

If she does go thru a dealer payments on the car are expected.
