Used Amp. . Kicker or Jl?

I have a Rf hx2 500 wt rms 12"...

I can get a jl 250/1 or kx250/2 for almost the same price.

There both used but the Jl is further away and the seller is suspect.

I know the Jl is more powerful and probaly the bettter deal but the Kicker I can pick up anytime its 5 mins away. The Jl is around a 40 min drive and is possibly a waist a time.

might as well try for the jl. but if you dont feel like driving far then just get the kicker. your decision.

its just more complicated and the kicker might be gone by then. The jl people want me to leave a number and theyll contact me. And then there selling it for 50 bucks.. Just dont look right. I could probaly take a look at it Mon but I can get the kicker Tommorow..

I just wanted to get someone elses 2 cents. THere both good lil amps and I might just get the kicker cuz its convenient. But im greedy and wouldnt mind haveing the slash..

I know the Jl is worth Twice as much but since im running 1 sub at 2 ohms, wont they both put out 250ish?

At 4 ohms the jl kills the kx.. Plus its mono

I just got the JL 250/1v2 and have it powering a 12W3v3 and it pounds to me anyways. It is plenty powerful, its nice and small and compact, and also looks nice if it matters. Overall seems like a very nice amp.

JL all the way. Had that amp and my boys got the kicker, both good amps, but if u can get the jl for that cheap its a steal bro. 40 Mins, Ey its 40 min. but youll be happy once its thumpin.
